Our Story

About Us

Kingdom Silver began with a simple frustration: the most beautiful pieces on the Shabbos table were the ones most families could never justify buying. We set out to change the arithmetic — not the beauty.

The problem with sterling

Solid sterling is wonderful, and it is expensive. A full kiddush set, a pair of candlesticks, a menorah worth handing down — priced in sterling, that is a decision most families put off for years, or forever. Meanwhile the alternative on offer was usually thin plate: bright for a season, then tired, then in a drawer.

What we make instead

Every Kingdom Silver piece is Fusion Silver — silver-filled, meaning a genuine, substantial layer of real silver permanently bonded to a sturdy core. It is not a wash and it is not a plating. It polishes like silver, catches candlelight like silver, and carries the same weight in the hand.

Set one of our kiddush cups beside a sterling one and you will be hard pressed to tell them apart. Same sparkle, same glitz, same presence at the head of the table — at a fraction of what sterling costs. That is the whole idea.

Made by hand, in Turkey and Italy

Our pieces come from workshops in Turkey and Italy where silversmithing has been passed down through generations. Each one is assembled and engraved by hand, which is why no two are quite identical — the small variations in a chased border or an engraved panel are the mark of a person, not a machine.

We choose our workshops slowly and stay with them. It takes years to build the kind of relationship where you can send back a sample and be understood the first time.

Talk to us first

Photographs never do silver justice, so before you decide, ask. Call or text us on 845-783-2041 and we will send you extra photographs from any angle you like, explain how a piece is finished, and tell you honestly when something is not right for what you have in mind.

Same Sparkle as Sterling

A genuine layer of real silver, bonded to a sturdy core. It polishes, reflects and ages like sterling because the surface is silver.

A Fraction of the Price

The saving is in the core, not the craftsmanship. An heirloom table stops being something you postpone.
